I heart Orchids

Who doesn't love orchaids?!?!?! They last really well, they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and they dont really need alot of attention. Now thats what kind of plant i like...
These are more photos i took in HRH Prince of Wales building

Which one is your favorite?
I love this one...the spots, the colours and shape.

Royal Botanical Kew Gardens

So this has been on my "to do" list for a long time now.

It was the most beautiful day (our Indian summer) so I wasn't going to miss out on such a nice day, that i chucked a sickie! haaha

Threw on some sunnies and with camera in hand, headed off to the Kew Gardens.

So here is just a snippet of the pictures i took (I snapped over 150 photos)

Whale vase

How cute and quirky is this!

Alessandro Bêda is an industrial designer that has created this elegant flower jar or vase that’s made to look like a whale coming up to the surface for some air.

Lisa Stannard

I came across this website and feel in love with Lisa Stannards designs.

Anything to give me inspiration in my day to day life.

I love the mixture of delicate illustrations, coupled with beautiful watercoloured shading in both vivid brights and understated pinky greys.

p.s If anyone is thinking of what to get me for christmas, she has a collection of beautiful scarfs :-)

A scone and jam please

One of the things that the English love is scones and jam. I love this idea of using old (empty) jam jars as vases, not only is it good for the enviroment but also really cute!

How great would these be for an outside english style wedding or party.

I love night parties, something like this would just add some warmth to the night.

Ok, so i do love a flower arrangement on tables. But i love this alot, so pretty.

Coffee and flower shop?

Thinking of which direction as to go in...stick to flowers or have something else to bring in the customers.
So what else do i love other the flowers.....hmmmm....coffee and tea

I come across this video, which combines the both...
This gave some very good tips for getting customer loyality and leaving with a lasting impression.
eg.  creating a leave behind, so they take something cute and inexpensive home with them.
and another lil thing that you wouldn't think about is the restroom, adding a floral arrangement in there.

I love the idea of flowers in a tea cup for the take away or a gift to be ordered and delivered. This idea could be the Little Londen's signature gift.

Also to keep the flower theme going...serve the sit in customers coffee with a side of flowers. Cute!
